We will join together at the following gatherings and wanted to make sure you had the dates/locations so we can all plan on sharing food, fellowship, worship and Holy Communion!

This Suncoast Emmaus Gathering will begin at 04:00pm!

Remember all gatherings are open to everyone!
THIS WILL BE A COVERED DISH (POTLUCK) MEAL!
On Saturday, March 15, 2025, starting at 4:00pm, we will have our monthly meal. There will be great local food (furnished by those who attend), singing of songs, and the Community Table will be setup (T-Shirts, Fourth Day Books and more).
We will share in the Lord’s supper and enjoy a great time together in fellowship with other brothers and sisters in Christ.
Don’t forget to bring your family and friends with you!

Hello Suncoast Emmaus Community -
As most of you are aware, the Suncoast Emmaus governing body is currently operating under a Steering Community. The Steering Committee is sad and deeply concerned that there were not enough pilgrims to hold a men's walk last year and secondly, there wasn't enough community interest to serve on a full board of directors. I ask, what happened to the burning desire and heart to serve and "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:19 - 20. I ask not to put anyone to shame...I ask because if we don't do the work, make the effort, our Suncoast Emmaus Community will die. That's it -- it's as simple and truthful as that.
Our desire is to rekindle your burning heart. On April 26th at 9:00 a.m. please join us at Grace United Methodist Church located at 400 E Field Avenue, Venice to hear from Doc Hall of the Upper Room Ministry. Doc will present, "The Reclaiming Our Mission/The WHY". This presentation will remind and help us to fulfill our mission of the Walk to Emmaus. We will recall our focus and learn ways be more effective in our Emmaus Community.
Our hope is that by the end of this time together, the Community (YOU) can give
insight and empowerment to the Steering Community to highlight three areas in which we can serve to create effective change in the coming year. We are counting on Christ! He is counting on US!
This special presentation will serve as our April gathering and a light lunch will be served immediately following.
